We chose this cruise for a couple reasons. One we love the BERMUDA cruise. Two wanted to take my aunt and mother-in-law as neither have been on a Bermuda cruise. This was a gift for my aunt after my uncle passed earlier in the year.

Okay so if I were solely ranking this on the management it would be ranked terrible. I understand wanting to keep customers safe on a cruise but there was no reason for cancellation to Bermuda. Florence did not hit Bermuda! They pulled the plug far too early and did have time to switch it back. Second NCL did a poor job trying to remedy the change of itinerary. When your top competitors are giving either full credit toward a future cruise or half off for the change you would think NCL would either try to match or better but instead they gave a meager $30 credit per person. This is almost insulting compared to your competitors so what gives? Funny how NCL decided on an itinerary that would line their pockets more so than the Bermuda sailing. They chose to send us to Florida and the Bahamas. One of the three stops is their private island. Further adding salt to the wound they cancelled our last port day for God knows what reason. Ironically swinging far out almost hitting the very place we should have went to the whole time BERMUDA. Anyone want to know where Somers Island is? Because the spineless captain who practically hid the whole cruise suddenly used this title instead of stating closest land mass is Bermuda.

My wife and I have sailed with NCL 10 times in the last 13 years and to feel robbed on cruise number 10 is painful. Along with the above I felt nickel and dimed when I tried taking my aunt and mother-in-law to the Haven Restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Do you really need that extra $48 per visit? After I spent thousands with you? Really? I didn't ask for any dinners because we already use specialty restaurants which also has its own up charge. We also had planned visiting Margaritaville for lunch which you guessed it carries an up charge so you would rather piss a long time customer off and ruin that relationship? Where is the business sense in that? I wasn't inviting six cabins of people so I think you could have done better in this situation.

Cabin Review

The Haven Spa Suite with Balcony

Cabin H9

Liked the location of this room compared to what I had on Breakaway. I believe that was an improvement. Room was decent and like the spa and Haven access this room affords.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

We rented a car and drove to Grand Floridian for a tea. The gentleman at Avis was really nice.

Great Stirrup Cay

Island has been greatly improved since our last visit. One complaint would be if NCL could clean up some of the rocks in the water so people can enjoy it without stubbing toes or scraping feet.
