Pleasurable. To make a long story short all my little boy cared about was going on the water slides. they said my son (4years of age)did not meet the 42 inch height requirement of the water slides. I measured him 2 days before we left myself to verify he met the height requirement which he did. The slide attendants said he did not he could not slide. Remembering that he could ride all slides a year ago while he was only 3 on the triumph, I asked to speak with someone and waited where they asked for an hour and no one showed. Instead of getting my family all worked up on day 1 I decided to let it go. So we went to the 1 tiny pool where he was not enogh room to play or swim so we got out. The kids camp was okay. Again the triumph was larger and the kids camp a lot nicer with staff that seemed more excited to greet him upon arrival. The ship is outdated. The dining staff, bartenders,steward etc were great. Had a setback at excursion desk. We booked an excursion through carnival called the Mayan welness experience and when we Arrived were told the power went out. It includes a swim with the stingrays. But it was filled with trash and could t do that either. So basically while waiting for them to figure out what to do we were stuck at the beach ordering $10 Drinks. The cruise line said they would not refund any of the money because it said we received our services which wasn’t true. We had 2 options to choose from which was get on a bus and go to a beach (it was not an option because we didn’t want to venture off without our little one) or get a massage. The massage was fine but I could have gotten that anywhere. I would have rather gotten a refund. After Much complaining and the desk attendant rolling her eyes I was able to get 30%off. All in all, if someone paid for my cruise in its entirety I would not go back on this BOAT. The best part of the trip was going to Mr Sancho´s which I bookedyself outside of carnival.
