Cabin: Mini-Suite with Balcony

We have a favorite cruise line but they don't go to the Caribbean in summer so we chose Norwegian. What we hoped for was great entertainment, wonderful food, and fabulous beaches. We found a small, not very clean cabin with a tiny tv and a tiny balcony. There was barely room for two people to sit on the balcony. The buffet was horrifying. Dirty, crowded, wet floors, no servers, and food worse than a high school cafeteria.

So we tried the pay-for restaurants, two of them. Ocean Blue had great servers but the food was not special in any way, despite being quite expensive. The bread there is the best thing on the ship though. We went to Cagney's steakhouse twice as it was the best food on the ship, but it was not great either. Chewy ribeye, vegetables cooked to death, and it took forever. No idea why people rave about the Tropicana room, it was just another loud dining room with bad service and lousy food. The other two dining rooms... same thing.

The Irish pub, O'Sheehans has corned beef hash for breakfast which was little cubes of potatoes and maybe 1/2 ounce (5 tiny cubes) of chewy, fatty corned beef. Gross.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MX

The cabins are ridiculously small... and the mini-suite was no suite. No drawers to put clothes in. Tiny TV. Teensy tiny balcony. It did have a fridge which is good. Not too much noise from entertainment venues like some of the cabins have.

Port Reviews

Miami

We boarded here.

Harvest Caye

Worst stop ever. This place sucks. Tiny, dirty beach with seaweed and muddy water. We walked all over and could not find the BBQ lunch, not one sign for it. The main attraction is the big pool, which is nothing special. Everything costs money. Hated it.
