Half Moon Cay

We just got back from our cruise to Nassau and Half Moon Cay... the boat itself was okay no overall complaints. The one downside was only being one pool but still manageable. Great staff and excellent food and entertainment. We definitely had the best time in Half Moon Cay. Being our first time to visit the island we chose to do the horseback riding since we would get a view of the island. Best idea ever. The horses are so great and well worth the money for 6 adults ranging from 21-52. The views your get on horseback are absolutely unbelievable. Now Nassau on the other hand... not a fan. We got off the boat and we’re completely bombarded by locals screaming in our faces trying to take us places and give us discounted excursions. Since we were the only ship at the port that day it made it worse. We made it to the beach and weren’t even able to get in the water so after spending about 1.5 hours on land we went straight back to the boat. Definitely liked the more private beach/island better than the extremely commercialized. The boat was great but it is one of the smaller boats but it was still great. Being our first cruise in over 10 years I would say it went well. I would recommend to anyone to do the horseback riding in Half Moon Cay. It won’t disappoint.

Cabin Review

Porthole

Cabin PT

Cabin was great. Only bad part was the shower was extremely small.

Port Reviews

Jacksonville

Such an easy port to embark and disembark!

Nassau

Miserable since we were bombarded by locals wanting to give us rides and discount excursions. I would suggest booking an excursion through the boat or just stay on the boat for the day.
