We travel to Europe twice a year and have taken a number of river boat cruises. This particular cruise seemed interesting so we booked it. The side trip to Monaco for several days was very pleasant and we took 2 of the recommended bus tours both of which were excellent. The staff on the Poetry II were friendly and attentive. The dining room serving staff were particularly pleasant, very attentive to all needs and never let our wine glasses get empty. Our cruise director kept us informed daily with port information, tours and accessory places to see. he was exceptionally good. The bar staff, particularly at happy hour, were quite good, worked fast and always had a smile for the patrons. The duration of the offered tours was excellent; none of them were too long and care was always taken to be sure we arrived back at the boat for lunch or dinner. Very pleasant cruise all around.
