My voyager of the seas review on the 24th of January 2009.

We left Minnesota at 7am on wed the 20th Arrived into Dallas airport at 9 am and proceeded to the car rental agency. We drove to Galveston and checked into the la quinta inn on the sea wall in Galveston. We could hear the ocean but could not see it as it was foggy ! The desk clerk had said it has been that way for 3 days before we got there. The next morning by 10 the fog had lifted and the sun was shining We took the ferry to Bolivar Island there is still a lot of work to be done in Galveston and on Bolivar Island but the people are working ever so hard and it is coming back bigger and better!

On Friday we had reservations for the hotel Galvez we stayed Friday and Saturday as they have free shuttle to the port and free Gated parking while on your cruise. (We took a cab from the port after our cruise to the Galvez parking ramp it cost ten dollars for two!)

Cabin Review

Cabin jr

jr suite aft balconys are the most sought after cabins if you get a chance book one!! we Had cabin 1694 the room is big it has a walk in closet and a bath tub. It also has a couch and two lounge chairs and a flat screen TV. I do like the bigger balcony and the location. You just have to walk up one floor the the wind jammer and it is a long walk after diner so that works for us
