Overall great experience. Best to order online excursions before your sail date to avoid the onboard lines and be prepared to get a workout, sneakers and shorts are best. We visited Pompeii / Sorrento, Rome and the Coliseum, Livorno (Cinque Terre), Monaco & Monte Carlo. We wanted to see it all :) Having a guided tour that can explain the history is best and you don't have to worry about logistics. There were a lot of tourist and these excursion locations can get very busy. So don't waist your time trying to do it alone unless you are fluent in the local language and culture. You should also consider what "Wi-Fi" package is best for you for when you are on the cruise. We chose the smallest option and that was fine for us during the cruise. it kept us off the internet, which was also a good break...but definitely read the details of each package before you purchase. The food and service was of good quality on deck 15 and the specialty restaurants were also good. Manhattans was always a good choice. The shows sell out quickly, so be sure to make reservations via your in room TV and write them down so you can create a schedule that matches with your excursions, as some of the excursions are 8-10 hrs. long and your are tired out when you return to the ship. The only negative we had is related to the in room mini bar. We were charged for items that we did not use, so make sure you check what is being charged against your room. to top it off, we also had the adult drink package, which apparently does not cover the mini bar.

We stayed a couple of more days in Barcelona after the cruise. Hop-on Hop-off bus is the easiest way to see the sights and to get around. It was awesome !!!!

Large Balcony

Cabin B6

This was the firs time for us to have a balcony room. it makes all the difference. It was like having an extra room and we spent quality time on the balcony when at sea.
