We chose a Princess cruise because we had taken another Princess cruise previously and loved it. (Pacific Eden)

We found that lots of little mistakes add up to some disappointment. I am not going to go into the mistakes but even though not large they are things that should not happen. Staff tend to pass the buck so in the end this looks very unprofessional. Also I think a lot has to do with the staff not having adequate training.

On a more positive note, the ship even though it is old was great. Our cabin was an inside cabin and we found it to be very comfortable. The food was ok, this was a back to back cruise and we were onboard for 14 days so the meals where repeated each week. The Buffet was good but the food was never hot. We went to Sabatinis one night and were a bit dissapointed as the Steak and Lobster was totally overpowered by the sauce. The service could not be faulted. We also ate at The Crown Grill and it was delicious, the steak just melted in our mouthes. The staff could not be faulted (even though when we got there we were told we did not have a booking (i had booked on line and paid months before) we even received a reminder card in our cabin that morning. Thankfully they were not fully booked as this was our 40th wedding anniversay dinner.
