We select this cruise due to length of the tour is for five days and within 2.5 driving time from our home. Four young ladies from the age of 33 to 65 had an absolute ball being catered to by the staff. We got two cheap room on Deck 4. We paid the extra to avoid the cattle call line at the terminal. We checked in and our baggage was delivered to our room before we could get down the hall. Oops we had one young lady that packed her wine in her luggage instead of carryon. She got the nasty gram from Carnival that advised the wine could be picked up on departure. Hope the staff enjoyed it. Needless to say, her luggage did not get to the room until right before dinner on Monday night. My steward in room R-33 Jernvey was great. The other steward in Room 99 they never saw him and he delivered a small glass of ice. They were not impressed. We had Peter and his assistants in the Main Dinner at 8:15. They were go attentive to all of us. It was a pleasure to go to dinner each night. Our table included wonderful folks from North Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia. During the day we used the room service for pot of coffee and banana, bagel delivered to our room. We slowly put on our suits went to the dining room for sit down breakfast. The steak and eggs, omelets were wonderful. We started each morning with Bloody Mary's or Mimosa. Then we were off to the pool to spend a relaxing day sipping our favorite drinks. The drink card is the way to go. Thinking of drinking 15 drinks in a day is a bit overwhelming. Of course, one in our party did it twice and the rest of us came in a close second. The drink card also gives you bottle water at any bar. Our best bar was the martini bar and Jason is the best bartender Carnival will ever employ. The staff at the Alchemy Bar was the best on board. The Casino bar was very good also. We loved our trip so much that we book another next year same time with Benv in services. We just have not told our husbands we are going on another cruise yet!
