We have been sailing with RC since 1990. We have never been disappointed with their new ships. We sailed on August 4/2019 Eastern Caribbean. Let me just say, on each of their new ships upon entering into their ships we have been awed & totally wowed. This time we felt that The Harmony of the Seas was a generic version of the Oasis & Allure ship. We found the colors of gray & taupe totally boring! It lacked the brightness, the European fineness of its sister ships. We were not alone, many of the passengers that were on the Oasis & Allure felt the same way. The dining rooms were not as grand, they lost their spiral staircases & beautiful crystal chandeleirs & we missed the singing of the crew on nights that specialized in Italian night & other special nights. We did not like their selection of 90,s music in the promenade. We loved Disco night on the Oasis & Allure & loved the bridge that went across so that the crew could entertain its passengers. The Harmony did not have the bridge & the music was not great- the people did not relate to it as well as the Disco night on the Oasis & the Allure. We must admit that we found the food in the Windjammer & Dining room excellent & the service on board the ship awesome! Customer Service on this ship was the best! The entertainment on board the ship was a little disappointing! Grease was awesome & the cast did a great job, Sandy sounded & looked a lot like Olivia Newton Johns. The ice skating show was awesome! Probably the best ice show comparing with its sister ships. We did not like FineLine (some guy comes out twirling around wearing a huge skirt & carried a whip) & we did not find the show Columbus entertaining at all- it made no sense!

The ports to Puerto Rico & St. Marten were just OK. We were in Puerto Rico just a few hours not long enough to go anywhere to far away. Our beach in St. Marten was a disappointment on Orient Beach (Bikini Beach had lots of seaweed all along the beach).

We are truly loyalists to RC, we feel that they do cruising the best. We will be going to Italy next year on the Oasis & are looking forward to it! Our favorite two ships are The Freedom of the Seas & The Allure!
