This was my first cruise with Costa (Baltic Sea 12 days), and honesty I was very sceptic about chosing this company (mostly due to the accident with Costa Concordia). We cruise a lot with our family and tried many cruise companies but Costa surprised me totally!
The ship Costa Pacifica – it is not the biggest and most splendorous one, but clean and very well maintained, which is unusual for Italian companies. Costa was bought by Carnival some time ago and you can really see the American influence on their service.
My favourite place on the ship was Amarillo Cioccolateria. The best coffee is being served here, and you get advised on coffees like you were in a coffee factory! Absolutely fantastic!

The cabins are bigger then on other ships this size, that I have been on. We had a cabin without window, and travelled with a child who slept on the additional bed that was above ours. Still we could move around the cabin without problems.
Fantastic cleaning service in our cabin – quick and professional.
Port Reviews
Stockholm
We were warned about the "safety situation " in Stockholm which was very thoughtful of Costa. Honesty, I know the city very well, but this time we just went for a walk in the old town and that was all we needed
Tallinn
You don't need an excursion here. Just got o the old town and enjoy your time!
Riga
The city has less to offer but it is worth a walk.
Helsinki
The city has not much to offer but you can walk there indepedently. However the time is very limited in Helsinki, so make sure to leave the ship early.
Klaipeda
We went to the Delphinarium - definitely a must see in Klajpeda!
