We chose this cruise for the reputation and size of the Viking ships and for the itinerary. We were not disappointed in our choice. The ship and crew were outstanding and the food amazing. Our total experience was so positive that we have booked another Viking cruise next year. We thoroughly enjoyed the port talks, discussions and entertainment. The embarkcation was flawless and our cabin spacious and immaculate. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom and shower spacious. What a nice touch to have so many USB ports and outlets in our room. The various restaurants were all wonderful and the hosts and wait staff friendly and helpful. The included wines at lunch and dinner were good quality. We loved that there was 24h room service available. Although this cruise line is more costly than many of the mammoth ships, it is well valued for what you get. The included excursions were well run although if we had any slightly negative things to say about the cruise, it would be the excursions. All in all, a vacation not to be missed.
