We are Elite members and we enjoy what we get as Elite members on Celebrity. We booked this cruise about 5 months ago knowing that we would be embarking 18 days after our last cruise on Celebrity, Baltic/Russia. The price with the perks and additional OBC was just too good to pass up. Plus, at least for 7 nights, we would be getting out of hot, humid, rainy Florida weather. This was our cruise to relax.

Along with the prepaid gratuities and OBC, we had premium drink package and unlimited internet. We thought that would be for one person on one device. We found out we each actually had it it for one device for each of us. We don;t spend our lives on-line but it was good to have to check up on things, email, and do a little more research on our ports.

As far as the drink package went, well, we are not drinkers. Yes, we will drink on vacation but maybe one or two max a day. I'm a big pepsi drinker at home but never get a coke on the ship. I'm fine with water at dinner and some kind of juice at lunch. With the package, however, it was a lot of fun trying new drinks and getting my sidecar whenever I wanted it. I even had a coke waiting for me when I sat down in the main dining room.It was also good to get the bottles of water. We would get the large Evian and put it in the bathroom because the sink water never got cold. Still, we never drank enough to "pay" for the package. It's a nice perk but I wouldn't pay my own money for it. Read more
