We've sailed on Viking River cruises and found them to be first rate, so we were eager to sail on their British Isles Ocean Cruise. We have traveled on other ocean cruise lines and have been disappointed in many aspects. Viking does not disappoint!

The attractiveness and cleanliness of the Viking Sun was amazing. The Sun had the most comfortable stateroom ever, with a veranda, ample closet and drawer space...and that bathroom with the heated floor!

Many cruise ships have redundant menus and not a lot of dining options. So many choices were available and we booked the specialty restaurants a few nights. We also enjoyed the seafood buffet on several occasions. The menus were varied and wine or beer was served at each meal. The menus included some of the local flavors of the areas we visited...and that's an important part of traveling to us. I also have to say that we also took advantage of breakfast in bed on more than one morning! I have to mention ... all of this at no additional cost!
