Traveled with children

Our children wished to take an Alaskan cruise with our grandchildren and chose NCL because of the exceptional prior experiences they had enjoyed when we took them on several Christmas cruises from Miami. When we were asked to join them we of course agreed.

The ship was brand new and spotless which certainly contributed to our enjoyment but it was the world-class service provided by the entire staff that truly made the difference from cruises we have taken on any other cruise line. At every possible interaction we found caring individuals who not only extended every possible courtesy but also took it upon themselves to make certain that they had done everything possible to make the cruise a problem-free experience.

The food was good and the ship's staff flawlessly accommodated special dietary needs. The entertainment and shipboard activities were good and the grandchildren especially loved both the go carts and the laser tag facility. The casino was the largest and best operated we have found on any cruise ship. Embarkation and disembarkation was flawless and remarkable for a ship of that size.
