This was our first cruise. We actually saw it on the documentary "Mighty Ships" and it looked like something we would be interested in due to the size of the ship as well as the itinerary. We certainly enjoyed the small number of passengers (930), as well as seeing parts of Norway. We stayed in London for 4 days before boarding the ship in Greenwich. Embarkation was fabulous. They were so organized having people to take your luggage as soon as you stepped out of the taxi to the registration area, and registration took about 5 minutes. We then took a tender to our ship which took about 5 minutes. Our cabin was fabulous. Very spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Our cabin stewards Precious and Maria were beyond helpful, and always looked after anything we could think of. The food on the ship was very good. We particularly enjoyed Manfredi's (the Italian restaurant).

The chef's table was very different. My husband is a real foodie, so I did book this for 3 meals, however cancelled1 of them as even he said the menu was just too different. We really did not bother with the entertainment and activities on the ship as we found after being on the go with tours we were more than happy to relax in our room or on our verandah and just have quiet time.

The tours were all fabulous. One we enjoyed the most was Sea Kayaking, as we had never kayaked before. We laughed the whole time, and everyone was very helpful.

Cabin Penthouse Jr Suite

Lovely cabin, spacious. Bathroom amenities more than met our needs.
