Chose this cruise for the itinerary which looked very good. We have sailed before with Princess and enjoyed it. The ship was so crowded that we missed half of the evening shows because the theatre was crammed to the point of people arguing about the saving of seats. A ship's officer had to intervene. Every night it was standing room only, and that was if you could get it in. This was also the case in the night clubs were there were game shows going on. Too crowded to get a seat.

Highly recommend getting a coffee card as the regular coffee is bad. The saving grace is the fifth floor which is managed very well and has an excellent coffee bar and pizzeria. Food in the dining room was average, and not nearly as good as the last Princess cruise we were on.

Service was very good throughout the ship and the staff was friendly and pleasant except for one young man at guest services who was condescending and unprofessional.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BC

Shocked to find that the balcony room we had booked for the three of us seniors had a bunk bed and ladder for the third person. Tried it for 2 nights, couldn't manage it anymore so Princess put a cot in the room instead. Our balcony access was blocked when the cot was made up. Sad that we paid all that extra money for a balcony room to sleep on a cot and not be able to use the balcony in the evenings and mornings. There is no bunk bed shown in the room diagram, nor did Princess inform us when we booked that one of us would have to sleep in a bunk bed and climb a ladder.
