Sail Date: Aug 2018

We had the opportunity to sail on the Conquest recently for a 4 night Bahamas Cruise. We are platinum so embarkation was very easy. We were on the ship at 11:00am. Staff were all amazing and very attentive. Food in main dining room was fine...I have found that in recent years it is not what it used to be, but still good. Service in dining room (Monet) was amazing including their bar service, which was quick. Lido buffet was typical and I must say what we expected...there were items we enjoyed and others we did not. Burrito place on deck is very good and worth trying for breakfast and lunch. Guys Burgers are terrific. Deli was nice...try the Cuban. We were surprised at the lack of wait staff on deck for drink orders. Normally they are all over the place but not on this cruise...we had to go to the bar for drinks and wait for service since was so busy. Drinks at Alchemy were terrific...try the Basil Drop and Cucumber Sunrise. Our room Steward was terrific. Cruise Director energetic. We were not impressed with the comedians on this cruise but realize they do rotate in and out. Shows were of the typical Carnival productions. Our only complaint was our cabin temperature was warm and we could not lower. We made multiple calls about it and nobody addressed the problem for us. Half Moon Cay is beautiful with perfectly clear calm water. Nassau is Nassau if you have been before there is not much to say about it...would recommend an excursion if you are looking for beach and/or snorkel.
