We booked this cruise primarily on destinations of the voyage. We enjoyed several days in Barcelona before the cruise. Boarding went smoothly. With a different port every day always something new to see. We didn't expect too much from night time entertainment and to be fair it was a bit average. Food was outstanding. There was plenty of choice & we were always able to book one of the specialty restaurants. All the meals were presented to a very high standard. The ship was always very clean & well presented. The cabin was a reasonable size and the bathroom had both a shower & a bath. The swimming pool area isn't huge and did get a bit busy in the afternoons. All the staff were always friendly & helpful. Most definitely would cruise again on the Riviera. We did three ship organized excursions that were well organized, along with two culinary experiences which were exceptional. Probably not the ideal ship for younger kids, but that suited us.
