Cabin: Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

This cruise was my 5th Norwegian cruise and I must say I was very disappointed.

The ship appeared to be a training ship. I understand new staff must be trained but it was there was clearly a huge amount of crew who were unable to assist us when we needed help. We were shocked when we first entered our room, it had clearly not been cleaned from the last inhabitants staying in our room. The Freestyle Dailies from the previous week were still in the cabin, the balcony was filthy, there were no tissues, the body wash dispenser was missing. Whenever we asked for a little task done including an extra sheet my couch bed it wasn't done and the bed was never made so I had to make it myself. We know the room steward has long hours but it is still her responsibility to clean after each sailing and make our stay better.

As a teenager, it was very frustrating that there was an adult pool and a "kiddie pool". It was an awkward fit for me because I couldn't sit in the adult pool and my only other choice was to sit with the younger kids splashing me. I found myself avoiding the pool, which is very upsetting since the pool is one of my favorite parts of vacations.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BB

As mentioned earlier, the cabin wasn't well cleaned after the previous cruisers. There was a huge chip in the sink and the water was often way too hot even after putting the tap on cold for a minute. We found that there wasn't enough plugs when my dad had his CPAP plugged in at night and needing to charge phones and toothbrush.

Although, the overall layout of the cabin was good and had enough storage for the week.
