We chose Viking for our first cruise ever due to hearing very good things about the service, ship, food and excursions. We were not disappointed! Our friends who cruise tell us that we will NOT enjoy cruising with any other cruise line. We found the food very good, enjoyed room service breakfast to allow us a little extra time to get ready for our excursions. We enjoyed that the ship did not feel crowded, we could always get a pool chair, dinner table, anytime we pleased. The service was impeccable. Our transfers were seamless as well. We look forward to cruising again with Viking! We upgraded our liquor package and thought that this was a bargain! The Destination Meals and wine in the Restaurant were awesome. We met a lot of nice folks on the cruise. Our tour guides were very well versed and gave us a much better experience than if we had gone to the French Riviera alone. Our only regret was that we did not have enough time to extend our trip in Rome!
