Viking Orion Cruise Review by Noellen
Trip Details
- Sail Date: August 2018
- Destination: Mediterranean
The countries were those we hadn't been to. Most of the excursions were great. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service was excellent. We especially liked the 4X4 driving in Montenegro, the Fortification Walk, the National Forest/Falcon Place, Olympia and the Murano Glass.
We were with another couple and liked that there were tables for four. We liked the Italian dining room and the Chef's Table was good, but we would have preferred a few more choices (although we realize one menu is the point). The pools were lovely and the sitting area connected to them was awesome.
Embarking was good and simple. Disembarking was disorganized and long. We did not care for the excursion where the boats going into the little caves. Not really much of an experience.
Overall a great experience that we would recommend to others. Only thing I would do differently is choose a time that was less hot.

The cabin was spacious and the balcony was lovely. Lots of space for everything.
