This is our 4th Disney cruise, traveling with three boys ages 5, 4 & 2 years old. We've stayed in the Walt Disney Suite once before, and it really upgrades your trip beyond belief! Concierge on board attentive to details, they care about the smallest details and assure your perfect vacation. The staff that assisted on this trip Angeline, Christine & the infamous Danny.

The checkin at Port Canaveral on this trip was a bit disappointing. Usually once they check you in at Concerige they'll give you the lanyards for your cards which never happened, and someone is assigned to walk you on board and take you up to the lounge. The person who escorted us left us at the entrance to the ship, and as we were making our way to the elevators a staff member came and escorted us to an elevator pushed the button and let us go up on our own. Not a huge deal, but sometimes it's the small stuff that's noticed when you're expecting it and it's not delivered.

The cruise ship was busy because it was labor day weekend, and lots of kids in their last week of summer vacation with a big bang. Although the crowds were big, the lines were not bad - the character greetings were reasonably timed, cabanas had good service and turned tables quick. We ordered Palos to our room one night, the food came on time and was delicious. Our room attendants were wonderful, attentive, and cared about the integrity of the room and the smiles on our faces.

Concierge Royal Suite with Verandah

Cabin 00R

Ahhhh the Walt Disney Royal Suite, what is there not to tell? The suite always amazes us from the second we walk in to marble floor followed by comfortable carpet. Full bath in hallway, kitchen off front door entrance, area to park strollers without folding them as you enter.

If you're used to space in your house or in travels, this one is it for you! We love to spread out when on vacation. 8 person dining room table, spacious sofa with large flat screen TV, plenty of storage space throughout the living space. Two murphy beds that come down at night for extra sleeping room. One bedroom with cozy queen bed. The bathroom is to DIE FOR, shower with regular shower head or shower head from ceiling, floor to ceiling windows throughout bathroom that allows you to look at the ocean while you shower or bathe. Bathtub for two, I'm a big guy and my wife can fit easily with me. I wish I could package the bathroom up and bring it home LOL.

The deck! Over 800 SQFT, you can stretch, eat, sit, watch the kids play....whatever you want....you've got SPACE.......hot tub can have temp turned down if you want the kids to use it as a "swimming pool"....... did I mention the views ? OMG to die for, December once again we will be in this suite and can't wait. If it's in your budget, and you need the space................Walt Disney Royal Suite is for you.
