We just returned from what was to be a week on the Celebrity Solstice out of Ft. Lauderdale. Our flight to Ft. Lauderdale was cancelled however due to snow so we ended up joining the ship two days later in San Juan. This left us only five days to enjoy our cruise experience.

The Solstice is both very beautiful and intelligently designed. I especially liked how the panel above the elevator would change color when the elevator arrived! It is often difficult to determine which elevator has arrived by simply hearing a beep. Also, the signage at and around the two banks of elevators was well done.

Our cabin was fine and the bathroom a cut above most with a real shower door, nice tile and an attractive sink.

Cabin Review

Just fine, 9143. Near forward elevators. Nice balcony, great bathroom.
