The Baltic was an area of the world we had not visited and thought what better line than to choose Viking, Their Homeland Cruise. Every country, every port was chosen with great thought and this cruise gave us a wonderful view of the Baltic countries. The ship staff work so hard to provide us with a fabulous experience; nothing is too much for them to handle. The amenities are beyond comparison on the boat. The Scandinavian design and spa is extremely enjoyable at most times of the day. The food and restaurants available create dishes unique to the area and beyond. The wines available with meals are excellent quality. The port talks and educational lectures are extremely informative for the areas that we were visiting. This was our 4th cruise with Viking and we have two more booked for 2019. They are at the top of our list for Value and Excellence!
The room was impeccable. The redesign of the bathroom was fabulous. The balcony was a delight to sit on and watch the world go by.

The group was very large and all places were crowded with tourists. It was also raining.View All 378 City Tour Reviews
I do not believe these are the original paintings. Nothing was protected from the elements. Light from open windows were streaming onto the art. When I asked the guide about this, they said it was real... I think they were reproductions. Please be honest.View All 377 Hermitage Museum Reviews

The tour was good but there were too many bicyclists on the tour with minimal tour guides.View All 3 Bicycle Rental Reviews
The tour guide was excellent. She was very informative about the Estonian's and we had enough extra guides on the tour.View All 8 Bicycle Tour Reviews
Great experience and plenty of free time.View All 189 Old Town of Tallinn Reviews
The tour guide was the worse we had ever had on a cruise. She was only concerned about losing us and repeated instructions of where the bus was. She also would reprimand tourists when they walked on an uneven sidewalk. She was like an old hen and had very little history or info about where we were.View All 60 Gdansk Old Town Reviews
We were given about 5 hours on our own. A fabulous city to wander and explore. The Holocost Museum was excellent.View All 100 Berlin Reviews
Did not need the all the time spent there. Would have been great if I had children with me but I didn't and do not want to travel with children. 1 hour would have been plenty.View All 64 Tivoli Gardens Reviews
Wonderful castle and not crowded and the basement with the crown jewels was fabulous. The most authentic of all of the castles that I saw.View All undefined undefined Reviews
Lots of free time and the boat tour into the fjord was fabulous. Pictures do not do it any justice, you must see it and be there to fully appreciate it.View All 76 Pulpit Rock Reviews
Walked around and had lots of free time.
Went on a bike tour with a guide to took us to her home and baked for us and also made us some aquavite. We road through small streets and had a great taste for local life.
Little town took a bus ride and learned about geology of Norway. Rainy and spent more time on the boat which was great!
