We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and the cruise line. We have traveled on Viking River cruises but not their ocean line. We did the pre-extension in Iceland and then flew to Bergen, Norway to board the ship.

The ship is beautiful. All of the crew were wonderful and helpful. Even though there were 900 guests on board, it was not crowded and just a fantastic experience. The cabin, which was a Verandah on the 6th floor, was perfectly planned. Lots of storage and easy to move around in.

There were two, no reservation dining areas, and two reservation dining rooms. We chose to eat in the areas that did not require reservations. The staff was great and the food was plentiful and wonderful. Read more
