We selected this ship and its itinerary as we wanted to visit this part of the world and this cruise fit our schedule. I particularly wanted to see Barcelona and return to Monte Carlo. This brand new ship, the Viking Orion, was beautiful. I loved the design and openness of the ship and the various touches of technology. Food was first rate, and all of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My only complaint was that the entertainment, particularly the musicians, were not of the quality that I have come to expect on most ships. Given the competitive nature of auditioning to be selected as a cruise ship musician, I am surprised that they were not more skilled. It would also have been nice if there were more options on board the ship when we were "at sea". Shore excursions were wonderful, and it was a real treat to have WIFI, wine, shore excursions, etc. part of an all-inclusive fare. This is extremely enticing! All in all, a wonderful experience! I'm eager to go on another Viking Ocean cruise sometime soon.

Cabin Review

Well-designed, modern cabin.
