We chose the itinerary and found out later that we were on the biggest ship. We embarked in Rome although most passengers embarked in Barcelona. Since only about 20% of the ship was embarking, it was great! We walked right on and had no delays or lines. The port is about an hour from Rome.

We are empty-nesters and had not picked the ship for all the family activities. If you are looking for romantic and quiet, this might not be your ship although we found it to lovely. I was disappointed in the food in the My Time Dining (included). Spend the money and go to the upgraded restaurants. The entertainment was good. I also enjoyed the art auction on board a couple of days. We ordered room service a couple of mornings and everything was delivered on time and hot/cold as it was supposed to be.

I really liked our cabin and was very surprised how roomy a cabin with a balcony can be. Our steward was Rudy and he was the BEST!!

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony

Cabin 5D

I thought the cabin was roomy. The bathroom was larger than expected. My husband and I loved the balcony and spent a lot of time watching the ship go in and out of the port as well as time at night on the balcony. Rudy was the BEST steward.
