First of all - the ship is beautiful and the rooms were nice/clean (small and small balcony but nice enough). Central Park and the Boardwalk were very pretty and the main lobby was nice too. The staff was also very, very nice and they all seemed happy to be there.
However, barley anything is included within the price you pay at booking. My family has always cruised because we like that most things are included - you can eat just about anywhere on the ship and not worry about extra pricing etc. On this ship you can only eat at the buffet, the normal dinner, and the pizza place. Even the ice cream was extra and it was expensive. It was very disappointing that the ship was packed full of all these different restaurants and bars but that none of them were accessible unless you wanted to pay a hefty fee - the hibachi place was $100 per person.
The food was mediocre. I want to attribute this to it being such a big ship and it being difficult to prepare food for so many people. The only thing that was worth seeking out were the soups at dinner. Other than that, the buffet was really lacking. There was a lot of food but no stations to tell you what was where, it was just all jumbled. There might be a pasta and then next to it would be fruit and then an Indian dish - no organization. And the food itself just didn't taste great, it wasn't anything special. I usually look forward to cruise dinners, but again the food just wasn't anything to look forward to. It almost reminded me of the cafeteria in college. Also, if you are a vegetarian you'll only be eating fruit and Indian dishes - these were actually the more delicious options on the ship, but they were not advertised anywhere you always had to ask. And if you are vegan you should find another ship, even the vegetarian options had dairy.
Room was clean enough - especially the bathroom. The room and balcony was definitely smaller than the average cruise room/balcony, but I didn't mind that. Our room steward was also great and friendly.
