Having travelled before both on Celebrity Cruises and Holland America Line it's not easy to find cruiseships and itineraries that might excite us. It was the second time we travelled with Princess and we enjoyed as much as the first time.
The ship's decoration is older, still everything is very well taken care of.
The cabin (interior) had the same usual size as we've seen in other cruise ships.
The dining options are great (although Celebrity Cruises has a superb gastronomy offer) since they also offer " anytime dining".
Times in ports of call are definitely the great advantage of Princess Cruises, comparing to other companies.
Princess allows passengers to use both Jacuzzis and Pools by night, until cinema sessions of "Movies Under The Stars" end, around 11 pm. Many passengers watch the movies while at the jacuzzi, which is a very interesting possibility. Popcorn and blankets are also provided during cinema sessions.
Only weak point was the entertainment. Apart of the "Movies Under The Stars" cinema option, most entertainment is only focused on older couples and non-european tourists.
The service quality is similar to Celebrity Cruises.
Considering the price and the overall experience, it's a great option for both new and experienced cruise travellers.
Cabin size and maintainance average quality.
This port of call provides great access to Rome (train).
Salerno is not an interesting port, still it gives easy access to Poitano and Amalfi which are great tourist destinations.
Crete is a great island with a lot to see from beach to historic spots.
Kotor is world heritage site by UNESCO, an amazing and beautiful cultural destination, also very close to the beach areas of Budva.
Corfu is a very dirt island. Apart from beach resorts there is nothing else to do on the island considering we're only staying for a few hours.
