We chose this cruise because our daughter and husband with the grand children had already booked and asked if we would come along. We would normally go outside school holidays.
We generally enjoyed the holiday. All the staff in all departments were great and the guests easy to mix with. Food was good even though the breakfasts became a bit boring. Snack shack was excellent, especially the fish and chips. Small potions but it was a snack. The entertainment was okay. Guest entertainers were very good, but the theatre troupe were not the best singers. Bit tinny.
Being All Inclusive concerned me initially, but nobody appeared drunk and everyone was friendly. Mind, the drinks did seem weak. Cocktails, weak or not, were excellent.
The room was okay but looked 'tired'. No fridge? We have not been on any other cruise without a fridge. One great touch was the USB sockets for charging devices. Bedding was old, towels threadbare. No toiletries other than shower gel. Only plus was tea and coffee facilities.
Ceiling tile hanging out of ceiling. Not fitted properly.
An extra bed, if needed, pops out of the ceiling? Awful.
Corridors to the rooms were drab.
