we cruise in the Mississippi River starting from New Orleans Louisiana to Memphis TN withthe American Queen .Every day we stopped in 1 town, Nottoway Plantation in Nottoway,visting -the White castle completed in 1859 -64 rooms, then St. Francisville ,St. Louisana-the plethora of beautiful & charming antebellum period homes & architecture.then Natchez,Mississippi -charming river town first inhibited by Natchez Indians & French explorers,Vicksburg,Mississippi -Jesse Brent Lower Mississippi River Museum,Greenville-HistoricDowntown Greenville Mississippi -Greenville History Museum, Hebrew Union Temple Museum,lastly in Memphis- Graceland-visiting Elvis Presley Mansion , airplane , gift shops& various museum - mostly using The American Queen Hop On & Hop Off buses.
In the boat there is a life show every evening - musical band with the American Queen steamboat company, Steamboat Syncoptors -celebration of 50's - 80's pop music in a variety of styles,Memphis Soul & Blue Singer -Queen Ann Hines, Alaskan Boy -Alex Bernhardt sings his favourite songs, Southern Style starring Bobby DurhamDante -sleightof hand magic show, Lainie Gulliksen -Siren Songs -of broadway Pop & Opera etc.The food -lots of variety including Lobster tail - 7 ozs.
