The start to the cruise was a cold hour & half wait to check in with many of our fellow passengers joining the line as they liked but always ahead of us.The priority line is in name only. The ship was clean & our junior suite was a haven of peace on a very busy ship.It was always clean & tidy with the towel animals each night & kept very well by our attendant through out the cruise. We felt that the mission of the staff especially the bar waiters was to part you from your money as soon as possible. The dining was ordinary & our two nights in the Portofino was money well spent. The spa was a delight even after the sales pitch which comes with ever treatment.Money & seperation again. The shows were ordinary except the ice shows which were very good. Some staff were friendly & others kept themselfs to themselfs. We sometimes felt they looked upon us as a cargo that talks. All we talked to were longing for there leave time.Gratuity,Americas gift to the world, after pre paying this we found a 15% charge added to all drinks & ice cream from Ben & Jerrys.Even if you took a bottle of water from the mini bar a 15% charge was there. So if you are planning a cruise keep this in mind as it soon adds up.Then disembarking came which was worse than the getting on board. We were to leave the ship at 9.45am but eventually got off at !0.45am to an utter melee of disorganisation. Our limo guy was most upset by it all.Get this sorted out ASAP.Otherwise 6 out of 10 for the experience.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was a joy to us with plenty of room & cupboard space.Kept clean & tidy always by our attendant he was always there to please. The balcony was great as we found it very private not like most of other ships we have been on.Our cabin was across from service doors but this did not detract from our enjoyment of our cabin.Being very private people we found our cabin to our liking very much.Bathrooms are bathrooms.
