I choose this trip as an add-on to a bus tour of Switzerland. The Imagery is a beautiful two year old ship with 128 person capacity had 104 passengers on our sailing. It was my first experience on a river cruise and I enjoyed the intimate atmosphere as compared with a large ocean cruise. The cabin was perfectly designed with one mirrored wall and one floor to ceiling sliding glass door. Our spotless bathroom was beautiful and had a frame-less shower and marble tile. The staff provided outstanding service and we participated in some very good excursions. We enjoyed our culinary experience as well: every meal contained many choices and delicious food. Every dinner had five courses and a choice of at least three items in each course in addition to a choice of three wines. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about this trip and would definitely travel with Avalon again.
