Cabin: Veranda Suite

We chose this 7-day Baltic cruise with Seabourn as we liked the itinerary (5 countries in 7 days) and wanted to try a “luxury” cruise line having previously cruised with Celebrity, Cunard and Oceania.

We were not dis-appointed, Seabourn and their staff ensured everything went extremely smoothly from the very start. Check-in and boarding in Stockholm took 5 minutes, very different from experiences we have had in departure ports like Seattle and Istanbul.

Our cabin (Veranda Suite on deck 9) was well equipped, and a little larger than we have experienced on other ships.

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite

Cabin V2

Good size cabin with walk-in closet. Good bathroom with tub and separate shower. Quite good TV options including live channels and many recorded movies/TV shows.

We liked the cabin location as it was close to all amenities, but in a “dead-end”corridor so very quiet.

More-over the sound insulation was excellent, really no ship noise at any time.

Port Reviews

Stockholm

A nice city worth spending 24 hours in prior to boarding

Tallinn

Seabourn provided a shuttle bus to the old town (can be walked in 30 minutes). We spent 2 hours in the old town, then returned to the ship.

Helsinki

The ship docked right next to the city center so allowed a very easy walk around the town, with plenty of shopping/dining options

Copenhagen

Dis-embarked here and spent 48 hours in the city. An enjoyable time with plenty of outdoor activity (active river and canal system).
