We went with 2 other couples. One couple had traveled on a Viking River Cruise before and said what a great time they had on the cruise. My wife and I have told many of our friends and family that they need to travel on Viking.

The food was varied from day to day if you wanted to experience local foods. The wait staff and service people were friendly and daily went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The shore excursions were all top notch, my wife was unable to participate in all of them because of her being on a cane. The few that we did together were at a pace and comfort level that she could handle. The rooms were comfortable and cleaned twice a day with the next days itinerary on our bed. We always had time to look it over to determine what we wanted to do the next day.

The most important part was the staff all spoke English, so if you didn’t know German, French,Polish it didn’t matter.
