This was our first cruise with Carnival and we were pleasantly surprised. We embarked at Long Beach, California and have to say that it was the smoothest embarkation we have had in a long time. The process was extremely smooth and quick.
Although the ship has some interesting colours (pink theme) we found it to be easy to navigate and lots of onboard entertainment.
Our cabin seemed large in comparison with others. There was an extra pull out bed in the room which was used as a sofa or just somewhere to put things. The bathroom was big, you could actually have two people in there at once. The shower and the basin were a good size and there was room either side of the mirror for storage of toiletries.
The cabin exceeded our expectations. It was large and easy to move around. We had a sofa, which I assumed was an extra pullout bed, which came in very handy for sitting, lying or just putting things on. There was ample storage with cupboards and shelves as well as drawers under the desk.
The bed was comfortable as were the pillows and the doona was wide enough to cover the two beds (queen).
The bathroom was a good size with plenty of room for toiletries and the basin and shower were also a decent size.
It was one of the better cabins we have had on cruises.
