I chose this cruise to avoid jet lag on a return from vacation. I had sailed QM2 previously and really enjoyed it. I have recently been travelling on Regent and wanted something comparable so I booked a Queens Grill cabin. I have been on approximately 35 cruises so am not new to the experience.

Overall the experience was really nice. The cabin was huge and the butler (Vishal) was great and very attentive. The food in the Queens Grill was excellent and the service good but not quite 5 star (I shouldn't have to ask at every meal to have my water glass refilled).

Embarkation was really smooth and we were some of the first on the ship which was nice. No champagne to greet you (although there was a bottle in the cabin) and you find your own way to the cabin. Read more
