Loved the Eclipse, the service of Stateroom attendant Vickson, Dining room Inacio, Kastawa and Koray best of any cruise we have ever taken (15). Main Dining Room food was exceptional!
We hired a private tour guide in Inverness and that’s the only way to go as far as we are concerned. J.A. Johnstone tours is exceptional, Ernie was our guide and added so much to our trip, the extra effort and price was very reasonable.
We essentially took Hop on Hop off buses most places, but I would encourage you to use the GoDublin Hop bus. It is green, by far the better one.

Difficult to get to bus office from ship. Too exhausted after long flight, should have gone a day earlier.

Excellent, great live tour guide unlike regular hop on hop off, yet you could get off and on at will. Loved it.
Cobh (Cork)
Great, took ship’s tour to Jameson Distillery and City tour. Loved the old distillery. Next trip we will venture out away from Dublin, but this was perfect for a first visit. Plenty of time to see the National Gallery which is outstanding.
St. Peter Port (Guernsey)
Lovely little island and we got to see lots of it’s beauty as well as homes and the little chapel
