The Norwegian Escape is a family centered ship that is geared for young families. So many children on this boat. Adult only areas are hard to find eg. Spice H2O which is in the aft of the ship on the 17th floor. We found this area toward the end of our cruise and it is a little gem if you want to get away from noise and children. 18 and over only during the day. Main pool area is crowded with a pool that is too small for 4000+ guests. If you dont like a lot of noise and kids running around avoid this area. It was very difficult to find a lounge chair and find space in the hot tub, Our cabin was on the small size but it was comfortable with a great shower. A big plus for us! The steward was wonderful and available whenever we need something. The dining and food was the best part of the cruise. Really enjoyed the meals and O Sheehans for a late night snack. Drinks were very accessable and flowing. Best Malibu Bay Breezes that I've ever had.We wanted to relax so we didn't take advantage of all the activities just the shows in the theatre and music.Entertainment was spectacular. Howling at the Moon were amazing and so talented. The musicians played 3 instruments each. very entertaining.The staff were very accommodating. I have a sleep apnea machine and we called guest services for distilled water and it was delivered to our room witin an hour. We also did not used the ships excursions but we grabbed a minibus outside to take us to the beach. this worked out well and was an inexpensive way to travel on the island.
