We have decided to, as our grandchildren (we have seven of them) reach age 12, take them with us on a cruise without their parents or siblings - give them something (hopefully) that they can remember. That being said, we chose the Glory because we had not been on her before and the dates, itinerary and airfare aligned with our plans.

We had a direct flight that arrived around 8 am, so we retrieved our luggage and had a little breakfast at the airport - just a sandwich from Starbucks which was okay. We grabbed a taxi and headed to the port arriving around 10 am. We waited outside for 30 minutes or so and they allowed us into the air conditioning to wait to get through security. Another 30 minutes there and they opened security and we were into the terminal. We are priority, so we sat in that area and watched the completion of debarkation of the previous cruise (more on this later). Another 45 minutes and four wedding parties later, we were on our way.

We love the Conquest Class ships, we don't know why other than the layout is very comfortable for us. Our connecting Oceanview rooms were ready when we embarked so we went directly to them. These were great for our party of four, and I will book this configuration in the future .
