This is my third cruise and we chose Carnival Paradise because of its two day stay in Havana. Cozumel Mexico and Grand Cayman were ok but Cuba is a must! Amazing beach in Grand Cayman, we went to Royal Palms beach club.
Embarkation went very smooth, and we didn't make any long lines. Lines were kind of long to disembark though. We had an interior cabin for 4 people with 2 pull down beds which worked perfect for my kids. Service was excellent. The cabin was cleaned in the morning and serviced again in the evening when we were out to dinner. We were assigned to Your Time Dining and the most we had to wait for a table was 15-20 minutes.
Food was excellent at the restaurant, but not too many choices at the buffet.
The kids enjoyed the kids club, it had a variety of activities while we spent some time on the Serenity adult deck and never had trouble finding a chair.
Best part of the cruise was its overnight stay in Havana. My tour guide Duramis (firstname.lastname@example.org) made our two day stay perfect and took us to all the most see spots in Havana. We did a walking tour and a tour in a convertible car. She is full of knowledge on Cuba's history and culture.
Interior cabin for 4 people, 2 adults 2 children. Did not feel as crowded once everything was unpacked and organized. Had a king size bed and two pull down beds.
