Pride of America Cruise Review by cruisnalsion
- Sail Date: August 2018
- Destination: Hawaii
This ship is meant to stop/port multiple times but unfortunately because of hurricane Lane our port days were cut short. The Captain, staff, and crew really made us feel safe and the ride wasn't too bad.
Overall our room wasn't too bad, the bed was nice and we had a good view. Because there's not a lot of ports that a ship can port at in Hawaii some of them are more industrial so the views from out window weren't as nice but it doesn't matter much as you're off the ship exploring anyway.
the food was pretty good at the restaurants. We had food in all the free options and we tried the Japanese restaurant which was a lot of fun and tasty.
The entertainment on the ship was easily the best part of the cruise and really helped make the extra sea days go by. The cruise director Jami and assistant cruise director were awesome. The production shows were ok and the comedian was very funny but the best was the magician Kyle Marlett. He was hilarious and spent a lot of time with the guest, really made us feel special.
Overall, the cruise was fun and we really enjoyed it. We are hoping to come back again just not during hurricane season haha!
