Sail Date: Aug 2018

Viking sent us an email informing us that the first part of our journey would be by bus two days before our departure, this did not give us enough time to discuss with 8 people to continue or cancel.

The short notice for such a large investment in a vacation in addition to bringing new customers to Viking is not acceptable.

Viking knew about the problems on the #Danube River at least 3 weeks prior to our departure. We were told by #Viking staff that at least one of the ships had been docked in Budapest for three weeks without moving due to the low water situation. We believe that Viking knew we would not be sailing for more than 2 days on our trip. When we called, Viking said that only one section was bad and that only the beginning of our trip would be effected which was false
