Love the service on this ship, from bar staff, to wait staff at dinner to room steward. Just excellent. Even at the buffet they went out of their way to make sure we had a our drinks.

Our wait staff went above and beyond for us every night, remembered every one of our special requests each night. Best service I've ever had on a cruise at dinner.

Our room steward was very efficient and took care of our every need, remembered all of our special requests every day.

The entertainment was geared more towards the 60 plus crowd, which we understood, since over 80% of the crowd was 60 plus. However, that left us a little bored at times with the daytime and evening activities. They really could work on more variety of activities for this cruise, since outside activities are limited due to the weather being too cold for outside pool, and deck parties like on Caribbean cruises.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Anchorage

We toured the city, then rented a car and went to the Alyseka Ski Resort, it was beautiful and so was the drive there!

Next day we took the train to Whittier, also beautiful. My advice, if you take the train, when you rent the car, drive north, save south for the train trip to Whittier, you'll see more and save some duplication. Train was very comfy and roomy, one of my favorite parts of trip. Don't pay extra for dome seating, they let you go look in a common dome room for free!

Ketchikan

My favorite city, very cute and full of history.

We walked the city tour - wonderful, interesting little town. Walk it!

Vancouver

Great overview and history of the city. Great time killer till flight too. And you can bring your luggage!
