Apart from a Nile River cruise this was our first sea-going cruise, and a delightful experience on board Cunard Queen Victoria on her 14 day Baltic Highlights cruise from and to Southampton in August 2018.
We chose a Britannia class balcony stateroom on deck 6 starboard.
The Cunard Queens are in a class of their own, more graceful and opulent than some of the modern multi-story monstrosities that are so common now.
Very suitable cabin (stateroom) with adequate space for luggage and storage.
Our ticket class gave tea and coffee making facilities included which was welcome, and bottle of bubbly on arrival. Chargeable item in the fridge.
Very comfortable double bed.
Balcony was not attractive, but served its purpose, and of course it is battered by the weather, so had to be basic.
Toilet and shower room was small and just barely adequate, though how a larger build person would have managed is doubtful.
