Cabin: Royal Suite with French Balcony
While we cannot fault Avalon for the low water level of the rivers in Europe we were very happy that they bent over backwards to accomodate us. After spending 4 days in Prague we were bused to Passau instead of Nuremberg.They then bused us to Regensberg which would have been our second stop. An additional stop in Linz was added. The day cruise from Melk was beautiful in the hot weather sitting on the deck and admiring the scenery.
All the local guides on tours were really knowledgeable.
The food was delicious, various appetizers and a choice of 5 main dishes. If none of this was to your liking you could always get a beef tenderloin or chicken breast.

300 sq. ft. it was well worth the upgrade. We really enjoyed the extra space.

We also toured the city in the evening. The lights from each side of the river are a sight to see.
