The boat was amazing, the entertainment was good. Loved the AquaShow the most. Biggest complaint would be the FOOD. I am a big Food person, and love enjoying good, high quality, tasteful food selections. Aside from the specialty restaurant that we tried (Jamie Oliver's Italian restaurant where we were pampered with excellent service and food - shout out to our server AVEENASH), the Windjammer provided the most variety and quality for food. I have been on 6 other cruises (first time on Royal Caribbean) and always look forward to my dinner in the Main Dining Room with the fancy menu and tasty food selection. I was HIGHLY disappointed in both the food quality and service for multiple reasons: SERVICE: We chose "My Time Dining": -Sometimes our water was not filled when empty -Dirty glassware with lipstick one night -Food was ordered and forgotten MULTIPLE times (this sometimes happens on the other cruises I have been on, but it was a nightly occurence on this ship) -Long wait times for food to arrive -napkins and cutlery missing on table -Mixing up our food orders (food served to the wrong people) -Bussers didn't clear plates timely -Forgot to dress Caprese salad with Balsamic dressing for some at the table -Never offered fresh ground pepper or fresh parmesian -Many nights did not offer coffee -If coffee ordered by guest, would not bring creamer when asked -Servers always seemed to look BUSY and forgot things, were late in service....MAYBE NEED MORE STAFF?? FOOD Again, we always look forward to the Main Dining Room food choices and quality. This time around, we were highly disappointed for the following reasons: -Food was not hot, but warm or luke-warm. Very unappetizing. Occured most nights. -Bread selection was so-so. Always room temperature, not warm. Bread at Jamie Oliver's was amazing though. -Food had no flavor. Example: The indian vegetarian koorma did not seem to have any indian spices and the plain vegetables that were served in it looked so unappetizing. -The ice cream was ALWAYS melted/melting. I hate that. -I am a HUGE dessert fan/snob. The dessert selection was sub-par all over the ship. Did not enjoy unless at Jamie Olivers. Summary: baked alaska was melted, carrot cake didn't take like carrot, hazelnut didn't take like hazelnut, molten lava had no "lava", the cookies on the ship were AWFUL - all hard and no flavor -Lobster bisque was terrible, did not taste like any lobster bisque i have ever had -Lobster tail meat was such a small portion you could barely see the meat. It was embarrassing to be served this way. Photos were taken -Not enough variety of CHILLED soups - only strawberry. What about cucumber, asparagus ?? -Fruit wasn't ripe on the fruit medley -Not enough vegetarian options available on the menu or was told could NOT make the item vegetarian. -Beef entrees were good -Garlic bread was always hard -Salad that was supposed to have Prosciutto on it had bacon bits instead - seriously?! -Banana split had no banana -Cream mushroom soup was terrible -Calamari was BAD. How can Jamie Oliver's be GOOD, but the one in the Main Dining Room be that bad?? -Seafood linguini no flavor and warm -Pork tacos were actually good -mushroom risotto was actually good -Cherry jubilee tasted like cherry jam with melted vanilla ice cream -Blue cheese dressing was watered down/thinned out with little/no blue cheese -onion tart was good JAMIE OLIVER'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT -Food and service was excellent and beat anything we ever had in the main dining room. Aveenash was our waiter and was extremely punctual, food served on time and cleared immediately. Went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience and we actually came back a second time before the cruise was over. -Just because you pay to go to a specialty restaurant does not mean the Main Dining Room should not offer the same quality of food. We are paying to be on this boat and to have a good dining room experience, and that is not what we got. ROOM ATTENDANT IWAN was great. Thank you so much for keeping our room clean and tidy. PHOTO PACKAGE Photo packages extremely overpriced for digital copies - you've got to be joking to pay that kind of money. Plus, the photos and lighting weren't even that good, especially for DARKER SKIN TONES. Some of the photos you couldn't even see my husband's (who is African American) face in the picture. He just blended into the background.

I was HIGHLY disappointed in both the food quality and service for multiple reasons:

SERVICE:

We chose "My Time Dining":

-Sometimes our water was not filled when empty

-Dirty glassware with lipstick one night

-Food was ordered and forgotten MULTIPLE times (this sometimes happens on the other cruises I have been on, but it was a nightly occurence on this ship)

-Long wait times for food to arrive

-napkins and cutlery missing on table

-Mixing up our food orders (food served to the wrong people)

-Bussers didn't clear plates timely

-Forgot to dress Caprese salad with Balsamic dressing for some at the table

-Never offered fresh ground pepper or fresh parmesian

-Many nights did not offer coffee

-If coffee ordered by guest, would not bring creamer when asked

-Servers always seemed to look BUSY and forgot things, were late in service....MAYBE NEED MORE STAFF??

FOOD

Again, we always look forward to the Main Dining Room food choices and quality. This time around, we were highly disappointed for the following reasons:

-Food was not hot, but warm or luke-warm.

-Lobster tail meat was such a small portion you could barely see the meat. It was embarrassing to be served this way. Photos were taken

-Not enough variety of CHILLED soups - only strawberry. What about cucumber, asparagus ??

-Fruit wasn't ripe on the fruit medley

-Not enough vegetarian options available on the menu or was told could NOT make the item vegetarian.

-Beef entrees were good

-Garlic bread was always hard

-Salad that was supposed to have Prosciutto on it had bacon bits instead - seriously?!

-Banana split had no banana

-Cream mushroom soup was terrible

-Calamari was BAD. How can Jamie Oliver's be GOOD, but the one in the Main Dining Room be that bad??

-Seafood linguini no flavor and warm

-Pork tacos were actually good

-mushroom risotto was actually good

-Cherry jubilee tasted like cherry jam with melted vanilla ice cream

-Blue cheese dressing was watered down/thinned out with little/no blue cheese

-onion tart was good

JAMIE OLIVER'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT

-Food and service was excellent and beat anything we ever had in the main dining room.

ROOM ATTENDANT

IWAN was great. Thank you so much for keeping our room clean and tidy.
