Adventure of the Seas 8/17/18 - 8/24/18 This was our 10th cruise with RC. Lets start with the crew; our experience with the crew members was that if you made eye contact, said good morning or good afternoon they would respond with a smile or nod of the head or say have a nice day sir. There were times we would end up having a nice conversation with a crew member. Our room attendant was great and kept our bath room squeaky clean. Our 2 dinning room attendants were excellent, they both deserve a 10. Bottom line we had a good experience with the crew members.
I also must mention that our experience with the service desk was good and they did their best to address an issue.
Even though the ship is 17 years old, what was visible RC seems to make an effort to maintain the ship. We sailed on the ship in 2002, now with the Flow Rider and water slides it perks up the ship with more things to do, not just the pools and hot tubs. The only issue we had was the dirty windows below the top railing on our balcony. I should have asked our cabin attendant about getting them cleaned, but I didn't. The issue is; if you are sitting in chair looking out, your eye sight is almost even with the top railing blocking your view so you have tendency to look down thru the dirty glass. This may seem minor, but we paid for a balcony and the glass should be kept clean.
Our cabin was clean, and in order all the time on entire trip. Bathroom was clean and stocked with fresh towels as needed the entire trip.
Since we lived in the area in the past we know the area, and there is really nothing to do unless you go to NYC to do a tour or board a ferry to the Statue of Liberty.
Been there in the past, really nothing to do because of the time limits. Disney is whirl wind trip, waste money. Years ago went to Kennedy Space Center, interesting if you are interested in space.
