I attended this cruise in honor of my nephews 10th birthday.Almost everything went very well.Service staff was very attentive, they bent over backwards to please us. Food was great, I loved how the cruise organized the restaurant dining to prevent overcrowding. The ship was very clean & well maintained.Excursions to Bahamas & Castaway were great. To me, the downfall of the trip was in the lack of activities & entertainment. The environment may have been festive for kids, but not adults.Activities shut down around 11:00p.I was really disappointed with entertainment & activities, there was a fee to play bingo, karaoke & other activities lasted approx 1/2hour, there were no dance parties that I know of, not even for the farewell.Other cruises had a more festive environment, and more adult friendly activities.I would not recommend this cruise for people without children. This is definitely geared towards parents of young children and maybe people above 60 who may want to retire to bed early.I know there are many parents with children on this cruise, and they need to pick their children up from the clubs on-time,but there are also childless people on the ship too.Disney needs figure out how to strike a balance between the 2 groups.Childless people spend a lot of money on this cruise & they should be happy too.Disney needs to figure out how to make the nightlife better, or just market the cruise to kids & family only.I was given the impression that this cruise is just as much fun for adults as it is for kids, but it simply wasn't true.Myself ,my husband & 3 young adult children ,and my sister(who happens to have young children) were bored on the ship for the most part.Where's the nightlife Disney? Please find the balance. We paid too much money to be so disappointed with entertainment & activities.Don't market this to childless adults if you are not going to change this.Just market it for families with young children!
